 Zeitgeist
is one of the oldest and most popular biker and rock
bars in the city - this is a place where guitar licks
and a large selection of draft beers are still enough
to be a success, and looking at the exchangeable contemporary
lounge designs, one is sort of happy that there are
places left like Zeitgeist is one. "Warm beer and
cold women" is their motto - at least the part
about the beer we can´t confirm. Zeitgeist features
one of the nicest beer
garden
areas in San Francisco - in summer, it´s a pleasure
to just sit on the back patio, smell the barbecue and
sip on a cool draft. The beer selection puts many other
bars to shame: from domestic microbrews to imported
ales, there´s virtually nothing you can´t
get at Zeitgeist. Being a classic rock bar, it also
has a pool
room
and some table soccer - great way to kill some time.
If you can´t make it home after a visit here,
Zeitgeist also offers some rooms located in the same
building - they´re hostel standard, but definitely
alright and moderately priced. Locationsite favourite!
