more. Gary Danko´s culinary style isn´t
exactly conservative, but stays away from experiments
and most modern trends. His classic American dishes
are excellently prepared, just as his seafood creations
or, depending on the season, game or caviar specials.
Chef Danko has won international merits for his culinary
expertise, and if you sample his cuisine, you´ll
know why. At Gary Danko´s restaurant, great emphasis
is put on a harmonmious overall experience, doing justice
to the aromas and single components of his meals without
experimenting too much. The wine list at Gary Danko´s
is outstanding, over 1200 positions from all over the
world are listed. Don´t expect a bargain here,
just treat yourself to something good: a meal with several
courses and according wines starts at roughly 120 $,
but you´re getting your money´s worth when
dining at one of the finest restaurants on the West
coast. Highlight to round off a pleasant experience
is the cheese plate, a collection of international cheese
specialties which - in connection with the right wine
