For
over 220 years, the Kaffeehaus
 Tambosi
by the Hofgarten has been one of the first addresses
for enjoying a fine cup of java in Munich. On sunny
days, the large
terrace
of the Tambosi offers a wonderful view of the
picturesque Odeonsplatz with the Feldherrenhalle and
the remarkable Theatinerkirche. And just in case you're
trying to escape from the hustle and bustle of Ludwigstraße,

the building. The cake and sweets at Tambosi's are excellent,
and even the selections
that aren't concepted to go with the coffee (like the
many pasta variations) can be recommended. And in case
