The National Hotel is mainly renowned for its gorgeous pool area - one of Miami's most beautiful and a popular backdrop for fotoshoots of all sorts. As a guest at the National, you can enjoy it every day: the infinity pool lined with palm trees is a real highlight. However, the pool isn't the only treat at the National: the recently renovated sister hotel of the Palms Hotel is a real gem as far as design, location and level of comfort are concerned. The rooms and suites are elegantly modern, held in soft creamy hues of brown, white and caramel and equipped with cable tv, minibar, two telephones and cd player. The rooms in the tower (the historic part of the hotel) offer fantastic vistas over pool and the beach, while the rooms in the poolside cabana wing are equally comfortable and spacious, but right next to the pool. The in-house restaurant "Tamara" serves the light French fusion cuisine of chef Greg McDaniel - ideal choice for the usually hot and humid weather in Miami. The National's palm garden is a destination of its own, with outdoor bar "Latitude 26" serving drinks and snacks and the "Deco Lounge" entertaining guests with a live DJ every day.
