The  Bar
Marmont is
a definite Hollywood landmark. As part of the Chateau
Marmont hotel, the stories this venue has seen to tell
are endless. A long history of Hollywood myths and legends
characterizes the hotel and
bar on Sunset Blvd. - probably
longer than most of the official landmarks.
The Bar Marmont is certainly not a place to go for bargain
drinks, but if you want a relaxed cocktail bar with
an elegant atmosphere, you've found it. The Bar Marmont
is divided into separate areas: the large main room
with bar, a stylish
restaurant
area and a
patio
with adjacent room with an
additional
bar (this
room
was used for
several Rolling
Stone cover shoots). All areas provide the same air
of decadence and Hollywood nostalgia that has made the
Bar Marmont famous - discreet lighting, noble interior
and excellent Martinis are the ingredients of a very
special night here - it may have its price, but a visit
to the Bar Marmont should be on every Hollywood visitor's
