 MTC
- small, but established for decades and still a great
live music venue in Cologne. This basement club is a
little hard to find since no signs really point to its
existence, but if you look around you'll see the small
staircase leading down, there's a hard-to-miss football
bar right above. MTC
stands for rock music and generally everything that's
played with guitars - both in the club and the live
music program. The MTC Club is a great forum for unknown
and regional bands, entrance fees are still moderate
- always a good chance to catch a live act for a few
Euros. With the new sound system put in, MTC is ready
to blow your ears away with heavy metal, punk or indietronics.
The outgoing crowd at MTC is laid back, the atmosphere
relaxed - no worries about what sneakers you're wearing
here. Great club for rocking out!
