The Le Fonque is a small but exceptional bar location in Hamburgs in-barrio Schanzenviertel. A welcoming and comfortable place with red light and decoration - as so many establishments in St. Pauli - it's not called the red light district for nothing. In this easygoing, living-room sized music bar, a DJ provides the chillout sound one needs for a relaxed night out. From 10 p.m., it starts to get full so if you want a seat it's best to show up before then due to the small proportions of the bar. A charming bar that's especially well frequented on weekends.
