The
Metropol is a huge dance temple, and the whole venue
seems almost church-like with its high ceilings and
mystical Egyptian statues and wall decorations. The
sound the resident DJ's at the Metropol play is mostly
soul, R&B and hip hop, which brings crowds of partyhungry
fans every weekend who line up for a sometimes long
time to get in, but unfortunately also draws many wannabe-gangstas
who come here to pose and show off their designer street
wear they'd lose within fifteen minutes in a real ghetto...
the female crowd that comes to the Matropol to dance
and party more than makes up for that, though, and the
ladies at the Club are usually extremely sexy. The p.a.
and light equipment is gigantic and one of the best
in Berlin - the Metropol has an impressive sound despite
the huge rooms.
There are four bars in the
 main
area
to take care of thirsty guests and two more in adjoining
rooms. The Metropol Club is recommended for all fans
of R&B music who want to spend a night out dancing
in central Berlin.
